Talking Rocks in San Juan Bautista

The healing benefits of rocks is the subject of a free lecture Monday at Jan's Rock Shop in San Juan Bautista.

The talk will be presented by Sela Weidemann, an author on the subject. Weidemann will be signing and selling copies of her new book, Rocks Heal. A website on Weidemann was also provided in the news release. 

According to the announcement, "The hour lecture will give an overview of how to use crystals and gems and the science behind how they work." The topic covers "rock medicine" and the release says that attendees will learn more about specific rocks and how people use them as a medicinal tool. "Sela has been practicing and teaching rock medicine for over 30 years," according to the release.

The lecture will take place Monday, March 21 at 4 p.m. at 209 3rd St. in San Juan Bautista.
