Teknova

BenitoLink sponsors help keep news and information available to our community. With this new feature, we honor the folks who help keep San Benito County residents well-informed

BenitoLink welcomes one of our new sponsors, Teknova.

"Teknova is proud to support Benitolink," wrote Richard Goozh, Teknova's chief financial officer. "We turn to BenitoLink to keep us informed on local business, government and community issues. There is not a more comprehensive information resource in Hollister or San Benito County."

BenitoLink reported on the growth of Teknova's facility in August 2016. The innovative company continues to hire and this summer expanded an internship program. The privately-owned company, founded in 1996, produces unique crops of “growth” media used to clone DNA and study genes. It also makes liquids for purifying and studying DNA and proteins.

As a local business, Teknova has shown a commitment to promoting philanthropy within its organization, and has been a strong supporter of community-funded nonprofits such as BenitoLink.

Sponsors such as Teknova help keep residents informed by providing funding for San Benito County’s local online news source. Individuals and local businesses have the chance to serve their community by supporting Benitolink, which provides information and improves understanding of local issues.
