Hollister Police are sought the assistance of the public to identify the driver of a hit-and-run collision that happened on San Benito Street. Hours after the announcement went out, police had identified a suspect.

On Nov. 10 at around 2 p.m., police say a vehicle left the area of 625 San Benito St. after colliding with a parked vehicle.

The parked vehicle sustained front end damage and the suspect vehicle possibly sustained minor damage to the rear bumper.
