Even with the benefits of a Catholic school education and a good economic background, Christine Henriques became involved in drugs at an early age. For years, her two older children shared her life on the street. Her parents moved her to San Benito County to get away from her peer group and start over. But Henriques was not ready until a drug arrest finally stopped the cycle. After 22 years of addiction, Henriques builds a new life for herself and her family.
