Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9242 held its annual Memorial Day Ceremony May 27. The event, which was followed by a barbecue tri-tip luncheon, began at 11 a.m.
Members of the VFW Post 9242 and Hollister Auxiliary 9242 gave speeches.
VFW Post 9242 held two other ceremonies at IOOF Cemetery and Calvary Cemetery. On May 26 VFW members and volunteers placed U.S. flags on the headstones of every veteran who has passed.
