We’re at $26,050 and counting!

BenitoLink grows and improves, thanks to residents and businesses alike

Benitolink's Pledge of Champions campaign has reached $26,050, due to recent donations made over the past few days by Heritage Bank of Commerce and True Leaf Farms!

With a little over a week left, these two regional businesses have shown their support for BenitoLink as a local online news source serving San Benito County residents. We thank both of them for donating at this very important time in the fund drive and demonstrating a genuine interest in San Benito County.

Until the year-end, BenitoLink will continue to strive toward its goal of raising $30,000. All donations will be doubled because of a generous grant from the Community Foundation for San Benito County and the Randy and Rebecca Wolf Family Fund. What was an ambitious goal is coming to fruition, thanks to local businesses and community members from all over San Benito County.

All our readers have a role in this.

BenitoLink also wants to thank our mid-range and more modest donors, as every donation has value. Our mission is to serve our entire county and your donations tell us that we are doing something right. Your contribution means we are reaching a range of economic groups; from those who are just starting to raise a family or buy a home, to those who have been fortunate and have seen enough success to contribute larger amounts.

If 1,000 of our readers donated $35 each, BenitoLink would bring in $35,000. Just think about it!

DONATE

These two businesses donated $1,000 to support "an informed and engaged community."

Heritage Bank of Commerce has an office located at 351 Tres Pinos Rd., Suite 102A in Hollister. Started in 1994, Heritage is a regional bank that has 11 branches in the broader Bay Area. The business bank was established in the heart of Silicon Valley and "founded by businesspeople, for businesspeople."

True Leaf Farms, LLC is a grower-owned processing facility and also is the brand name for the company’s value-added product line. The True Leaf Farms processing plant is based in San Juan Bautista, taking in year-round products from the Gill and Church family farming programs.

It takes the whole community to make BenitoLink be what it should be. We encourage you to help BenitoLink reach our $30,000 goal.

Join the crowd and donate.
