The Red Cross has a blood drive scheduled in Hollister on Nov. 18 from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1670 Cienega Road.

The Board of Directors of the American Red Cross of the Central Coast will be led by a number of new officers during the 2018-19 year. The board has also welcomed two new members.

Disaster-response trailer stolen from Red Cross facility

A disaster-response trailer has been stolen from the American Red Cross's Santa Cruz facility. The trailer was stocked with cots, blankets, and other emergency supplies used during Red Cross responses in San Benito, Monterey, and Santa Cruz Counties.
